Hi! My name is Ellie. His name is Drew. He’s my husband, and together we make up Kurz Studio Photography. We split our time between Lakeland/Sebring and Atlanta.

We met at Florida Southern in Lakeland and took a couple of black and white photography classes together. Amongst the chemical fumes of the darkroom, we fell in love with one another and taking pictures. We started our wedding and engagement photography business in 2005 and have loved every minute of it! Our style is a mix of photojournalism and fashion inspired portraiture… We aim to tell your love story beautifully.

A few things you should know about me... I sew. I made my own wedding dress. I grew up on a ranch. I love irises. I use cloth diapers on my baby boys. My favorite food is steak (specifically from the Texas Cattle Company.) I love wearing boots with dresses. Wedding dresses are my weak spot.
